Binder Card Case

Terms of use

The short version: the app is licensed to you, not sold; the prices it shows are estimates rather than appraisals; and it is an independent app with no connection to the people who make the cards.

The licence

Binder Card Case is made by Verto Studios, established in Denmark. Downloading it gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own, under Apple's standard Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement, which applies alongside these terms. You may not resell the app, or copy, decompile or redistribute it beyond what the law allows you regardless.

Binder Pro: subscriptions

Free covers one tracked set completely — scanning, the pocket grid, prices, rarity and binder positions. Binder Pro unlocks unlimited sets and the hunt list, at $3.99 per month or $24.90 per year (local pricing set by Apple's tiers).

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends, and your Apple account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the period ending. Manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple ID settings — not in the app, which cannot cancel it for you. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's own policy; we cannot issue them.

What the app is — and is not

Prices are estimates, not appraisals. Card values come from Cardmarket data supplied through TCGdex. They are indicative of a market at a moment, they can be stale or wrong, and they are not an offer, a valuation, or financial or investment advice. Do not buy, sell or insure on the strength of a number in this app without checking it yourself.

Pull rates are calculated estimates derived from published set compositions. They describe the odds in the abstract; they are not a promise about any particular pack or box.

Tradera listings are third-party content. The hunt list surfaces public listings that match what you are looking for. We do not vet sellers, verify listings, take part in bidding, hold funds, or handle any transaction. Anything you buy is a matter between you and the seller under Tradera's terms. We do not guarantee that a listing will be found, found in time, or still be available when you open it.

Scanning is best-effort. Card recognition reads the printed number and set total and can misidentify a card, particularly on damaged, unusual or non-English printings. Check what it recorded.

Trademarks and card content

Binder is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Nintendo, Creatures Inc., GAME FREAK inc., or The Pokémon Company. Pokémon and all related names are trademarks of their respective owners, used here only to describe the cards the app helps you catalogue.

Card names, images and artwork shown in the app remain the property of their respective rights holders. They are displayed for identification, so you can recognise the card in your hand, and are served by TCGdex rather than reproduced or redistributed by us.

Your data

How the app handles personal data — which is very little — is set out in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

No warranty; limits

The app is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind to the extent the law allows. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its data will be accurate or complete. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited — including your mandatory rights as a consumer under Danish and EU law.

Subject to that, our total liability arising from your use of the app is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes and contact

These terms may change; the date at the top changes with them, and continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it. They are governed by Danish law, and the courts of Denmark have jurisdiction, without depriving you of the protection of the mandatory law of your own country of residence.
